Privacy policy

TAKEOFF is an experimental, no-account matrix game. This policy explains what information the service handles, why it is handled, and how to contact us about it.

This is general information about the current demo, not a jurisdiction-specific legal opinion or a promise that every legal requirement applies in every location.

Information collected

When you play, TAKEOFF receives the role you select, your freeform action proposals, the resulting game events, and technical information needed to operate the service. A game URL contains a randomly generated token and functions as a bearer link; there is no account or password.

The browser may store a short history of game links, roles, progress, and timestamps so you can find games again on that browser.

How information is used

Game information is used to run the simulation, show your player-specific view, process submissions, generate the postgame review, prevent duplicate submissions, diagnose failures, and maintain the service.

TAKEOFF does not use game submissions to create an account or to send you marketing messages.

AI and service providers

Your proposals and relevant game context are sent to configured AI model providers so the parser, simulated players, umpire, and postgame analysis can perform their functions. The current deployment uses OpenRouter to reach model providers. Their handling of submitted content is governed by their own policies and configuration.

The application also relies on hosting, storage, monitoring, and networking providers to deliver the service.

Browser storage

The web app uses browser localStorage for its saved-game list. This is not an account system and is not sent to TAKEOFF merely because it exists in your browser. Removing the browser entry does not by itself delete the corresponding server-side game.

TAKEOFF does not currently require advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies for gameplay.

Retention and expiration

The hosted demo stores durable game records and event history so active games can continue across requests and completed games can produce their reports. Inactive games may expire, and the service may be restarted or otherwise changed as an experimental deployment.

Copies can remain in operational backups, provider logs, downloaded analysis exports, or browser history after a live game is no longer available. Retention periods can vary by system.

Security and game URLs

Game and results URLs are bearer capabilities. Anyone who obtains the relevant URL may be able to view the information authorized by that URL, so do not post them publicly or share them with someone you do not trust.

The service uses transport and application controls intended to reduce accidental disclosure, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Privacy requests

For access, correction, deletion, or other questions about information associated with your play, email rafael09ed.inbox@gmail.com. Include the game URL or another useful identifier when you can, but do not send passwords or secrets.

We may need to verify that a request relates to you before disclosing or changing information. We will review requests in light of the systems involved, applicable law, security requirements, and any legitimate need to retain a record.

Policy changes

This policy may change as TAKEOFF changes. The date at the top indicates when this page was last revised. Continued use after an update means the revised policy will apply to future use of the service.
